Dominican singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, Omalie360, began his musical pursuits by learning to play the drums at the tender age of seven. During those formative years, Omalie360’s maternal heritage boasted a range of musical talents, which he fully embraced. Hence, it was no surprise that he soon developed an even greater passion for singing and performing, a feat that would fuel his ascent to many stages in his career thus far.
In his younger years, Omalie360 impressed local audiences in Dominica with his natural singing and performing abilities. As the lead singer of the band “Genesis” his knack for performance and his impeccable ability to command audiences with impressive manner and style was evident. As the group toured around the nature isle, Omalie360 gained much exposure and an increasing fan base.
Omalie360 grew up listening to and emulating the sounds of many musical greats, from Otis Redding and Michael Jackson to Bob Marley. His eclectic musical style is credited to his experimentation and perfection of genres: gospel; reggae; soul; R&B; and dancehall, all of which would later feature on his first album “No Apology”. “No Apology,” produced by Cornell Phillip, one of Dominica’s top music producers, featured hit songs including “Mama”, “He Knows”, and “Take All”. Regional and international audiences have well received the album. It remains a radio staple frequently requested by fans worldwide, including the USA, Canada, Europe and several Caribbean countries.
Following his first album release, Omalie360 debuted his hit single “What Is Love,” which he wrote and teamed up with Cornell Phillip for production. Subsequently, he met and began working with Mr Allen Newman, who became his manager. In April 2010 Omalie360 joined Patti LaBelle, Brian McKnight, Rubben Studdard, Judith Jill, and Charice to perform at the concert: An Evening with ChildHelpat Warner Theatre in Washington D.C., presented by legendary musician/songwriter David Foster. Omalie360 performed his hit single “What Is Love” and “Mama,” a song from his first album, and teamed up with all the artists in a closing tribute song. In May 2010, the concert aired on Centric Broadcasting Network where Omalie360 debuted on the world stage.
Since then Omalie360 has toured and performed in several countries. He provides professional musical entertainment to leading resorts and special events on Anguilla, around the Caribbean, and North America.
